30SecondsToFly CEO Riccardo Vittoria met TWAI CEO Trideep Aggarwal at the TSI Travel API & Microservices Tech Symposium on Jan 7, 2020 which led to a successful integration of their technologies.

30SecondsToFly uses TWAI’s aggregation engine to connect its TMC customers to both OTA as well as GDS hotel content. In April 2020, 3 TMC clients of 30SecondsToFly, will go live with the new integration.

30SecondsToFly has integrated with TWAI as they extend their product offering from flights to hotels. “We’ve just launched a new mobile-first booking application that brings self-service and agent assistance into the same interface, allowing complete transparency and flexibility between the two workflows”, says Riccardo Vittoria.

30SecondsToFly is pioneering a new traveler experience in which the traveler can initiate a booking themselves, either via chat or a traditional search mask, within a conversational interface. If the traveler needs assistance, agents are notified and can join the chat seamlessly. “We have unified self-service and assistance in one interface, because we want to remove friction for the traveler and the agent. Our new booking app allows the traveler to take control of their own booking exactly to the point until when they would like support from an agent. The handover from A.I. to agent is instant and seamless, because the agent enters the conversation equipped with full information”, says Vittoria.

TMC clients can operate 30SecondsToFly’s proprietary machine learning technology in Autopilot or Copilot mode in which it automates flight and hotel bookings, either fully or partially, respectively. “Our technology allows TMCs to flexibly scale up and down as it saves them up to 50% of their agents’ time”, says Vittoria.”
